Police were called to Canal Road in Dumfries on Friday, Nov. 3, for a child porn investigation, Prince William County police said.
There, they found Richard Lee Sauter of Stafford, who had child pornography on his cell phone, police said. Electronic devices were subsequently seized from his home.
The 58-year-old man was charged with possession of child pornography and nine counts of possession of child pornography.
